"An education in ecological responsibility is urgent" - Pope John Paul II  Green World Youth Day began in 2008 with an e nvironmental international exchange and training program on 'Water for Life' organised by the Young People for Development network and the Holy Eucharist parish, St Albans in Melbourne, Australia. Now we begin again our preparations for World Youth Day 2011 in Madrid. Our plans are still in the making but we will begin here by providing a series of useful web-based resources on environmental issues and the Catholic faith. |
